Pastor Doris E. Burkett is the seventh child of thirteen children of the late Andrew and Juanita Hall Goethie.  She was born in Baxley, Georgia on May 7, 1959. She graduated from Appling, County High School in 1977. She later attended Altamaha Technical College in Jesup, Georgia in 1997- 1999 and received a (CIS) Computer Information System Diploma.

       She also studied Psychology/Christian counseling for two years with Liberty University. She is a resident of Surrency, Georgia. She served on the Board of Registrars of Appling County for 12 years and now serves a Deputy Registrar for the Appling County Board of Elections and Registrations. 

        She is the Co-Founder of Absolute Truth Ministries Inc., in Nicholls, Ga. with her late husband of 33 years, Apostle Wendell Burkett. She has four children, Candace Burkett, Crystal (Jermaine) Blaine, Sylvia Burkett, Isaiah Burkett and five grandchildren.

        She was ordained Pastor of Absolute Truth Ministries, Inc. in June, 2014 by Apostle Leviticus Moore Jr of Kingdom Fellowship in Fitzgerald, Ga. Her life is dedicated to living by example to women, men, and children, encouraging them, that with the help of the Holy Spirit, you can live a Holy Life.

        Pastor Doris has spent two decades teaching and counseling, which has enabled her to reach others through humor, love, compassion, transparency and strength with the help of the Holy Spirit.  She is a prayer warrior, teacher, mother, grandmother, but most of all a servant of the Most High God, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
