Pastor William Knox  is a native of Hazlehurst, GA and is the son of Adrian and Shelia Knox. He attended Jeff Davis County School System, where he received his High School diploma. He endeavored to attend Middle Georgia State University, where he received his  Bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in educational psychology from Capella University.

In 2002, Pastor Knox met his spiritual mentors, Apostle Johnny and Pastor Janice Watkins. After years of applicable teaching and spiritual encounters, Pastor Knox was later birthed into Ministry by his spiritual parents. At the age of 10 he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and at the age of 11 God began to use him in the capacity of ministry. Through years of prayer, teaching, extensive trainings and rebukes, God began to prepare him for new horizons of ministry, which led to his ordination at the age of 18. Throughout his college years, he remained pure in the sight of God and faithful to the work of ministry. He served in the capacity of Minister of Music, Sunday school teacher, Evangelist, armor bearer, prayer warrior, and a member of the board of trustees.

On July 20, 2019, Pastor Knox married his high school sweetheart. Each of them partnered in ministry and endeavored to do God’s will. After being married for a year, God led them to move to the city of Augusta. After an extended period of seeking God’s face and hearing his voice, The Remnant City Church Augusta Inc. was birthed in their home.
